We went around the same block as last year. The rain did not dim the kids’ excitement. There were only a few participating houses, but it was fun. Once back home, Papa opens the garage door and displays what he had prepared the previous day. I am happy that even as we get older, have more responsibility and are constantly tired; we haven’t lost our silly kid enthusiasm for Halloween.
We only had a few trick or treater, eight to be precise. Let’s be better prepared next year and make it epic.

Indeed by the time we’re back, no more kids were passing.
The candles were a nice touch. We need something that from far away that they know we give candies since our street is pretty much dead.
The lights on the kids impressed and got others to talk alot ;)
